Road Signs in Kenya
The NTSA Highway Code classifies road signs into regulatory signs (commands), warning signs (alerts), traffic-light signals, and carriageway markings. The pictorial roadside signs you meet most often are regulatory, warning, or informatory (guidance) signs, and each has a distinct shape and colour.
Regulatory signs are circular with a red border. They are legally enforceable. Warning signs are triangular with a red border. Informatory signs are rectangular, typically green or blue.
